Our Wedding

We met in November 2018 at a career fair in Eugene, OR while both working for Hershey. Breanna distinctly remembers how much JD made her laugh and how quickly she felt comfortable around him, and JD remembers how beautiful &amp; kind Breanna was when they first met. At the time, we lived in different cities, so we had no idea that one day would turn into everything that followed.-Even as life moved us around and the world slowed down in 2020, we stayed connected. Once travel picked back up, weekends were spent flying back and forth, turning distance into quality time and making it clear just how much we meant to each other. Along the way, we fell in love—through thoughtfulness, encouragement, support, and showing up for each other in everyday ways.-We’ve learned that we’re opposites in many ways, and that’s exactly what makes us work. On one of our first dates, we asked each other our favorite songs. Breanna answered with “Drunk on a Plane,” while JD said “Thinking Out Loud.”That pretty much says it all. Our differences make us laugh, keep things balanced, and somehow fit together better than we ever expected.-Eventually, JD moved to Texas, where we built a life together. Between early morning hot yoga, nightly Jeopardy!, and the community we’ve built, Texas quickly became home.-After several years together (and as some family members would happily say, finally), JD asked Breanna to marry him at sunrise in Coronado. We’re so excited to celebrate with you today as we continue to build our life together.

Texas Semi-Formal: Polished but relaxed. Think nice dresses (not cocktail), dress pants, or button-downs. Western touches like boots are welcome. Keep in mind, Texas in September can be warm! See below for attire ideas &amp; color pallet.

Dress Code

Travel to the Dallas Fort Worth area is super easy! We recommend flying into either DFW or Dallas Love Field Airport &amp; staying in Fort Worth. We provided a few hotel options below, but any hotel or AIRBNB in the Fort Worth area will work! :) September is a busy travel month in the DFW area, so would recommend locking in travel ASAP.

Virtual Option: We plan to have a virtual option available to stream our ceremony for those who are unable to travel, more to come! Timing: Estimating a late afternoon ceremony (3-4PM estimate), followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and reception!
